Description

This salve provides soothing aftercare for wounds, tattoos, and surgical scars. It is a natural alternative to petroleum jellies and synthetic creams. The unique blend of herbs and organic tamanu oil help stimulate skin regeneration. Homegrown comfrey, yarrow, self heal, calendula, and lavender are anti-bacterial and keep a wound clean while speeding recovery. Organic tamanu oil comes from a nut that grows in Hawaii, and has been used medicinally for hundreds of years. It is sometimes called “Green Gold” for it’s vibrant color and therapeutic properties.

Use Tattoo Salve sparingly, especially the first couple days. Allow the tattoo to breath. Salve is helpful when the skin starts to itch and flake. When empty, you can compost the paper container. If using on surgical scars, please check with your healthcare provider.
