Description
If you spend a lot of time on your feet or walking, you most likely have calluses. A pumice stone easily removes thick patches of skin, which helps reduce foot pain from friction or pressure in your shoes.
Simply soak 5-10 minutes to soften the skin of your feet. Wet the pumice stone, and rub it in circular motions over the skin. A wet pumice stone will glide across your skin. Add one or two drops of lavender essential oil if you like. Stop or use less pressure if the skin feels sensitive. Though generally used on the feet, the stone can be used gently all over the body. The cotton rope makes it handy to hang in the shower. After you get out of the shower or batj, finish with one of our body butters to lock in moisture.
Care: the stone can be disinfected with any antibacterial solution. Soak it in a small bowl filled with 2 tablespoons of vinegar to each liter of water. Leave to soak for 2 hours. You can also scrub it with a toothbrush under running water. The stone does not retain water, making it easy to dry and hygienic.
